On Saturday 22 February, we had the pleasure of hosting author and cycling legend, Jonathan Kennett on the trail.

Jonathan teamed up with Nigel so that he could find out for himself how the trail is progressing now we're at the halfway mark, and check route finding details for the ~200 people starting Sound to Sounds (A 1500 km bikepacking route from Queen Charlotte Sound to Milford Sound) next week.

Jonathan's comment: 'This is going to be a cracker ride!"
