Trail section partial closure - Washout
Trail between Awatere bridge South end and Nursery Road Seddon
During the Labour weekend storm the Awatere river main channel moved and washed away several hundred meters of trail adjacent the Awarere Golf Course vineyard.
This section is now OPEN however only a temporary trail section is in place along the vineyard headland, after the Christmas break we will gral and reinstate the trail surface, it is a bit lumpy and dusty but only 150m long so just take care.
As with all working vineyards, please take care, giveway to machines and keep well clear of their operations, proceed once safe to do so.
