The Whale Trail is as much about creating world-class experiences as it is about connecting our communities.
Since the beginning of this project, the Marlborough Kaikōura Trail Trust has envisioned a community-driven, community focused project, both during development of the trail and once it is established.
The Trust is committed to ongoing, open engagement and dialogue with local communities, iwi, landowners and other stakeholders to create the best possible trail, discover what is possible and to make sure the stories of our regions are heard.
