About us

The Whale Trail project is managed by the Marlborough Kaikōura Trail Trust (MKTT).

 

The Trust formed with nine trustees in November 2017. This followed the establishment earlier that year of a working group based around the opportunities presented by the post-earthquake reconstruction of State Highway 1 following the 2016 Kaikōura Earthquake.
